Cique, is a music duo made up of two elegant sisters Akomaegbe Cynthia and Akomaegbe Queeneth.
Cindy Cique (Akomaegbe Cynthia) is a second class upper honours degree graduate of Animal Health at Imo State Polytechnic while Queency Cique (Akomaegbe Queeneth) read Religious Studies at Imo State University. Both are fresh graduates.
The duo romance with music predates their childhood years and officially took on the identity Cique in the year 2015.
Their first release was titled Confidential (produced by Chriszee), followed up with releases as Tonight and Balling (produced and mixed by Meckury).
The year 2019 has been a rewarding year for this awesome Afro pop/Hip Hop Rap acts, despite the accompanying challenges with music production in Nigeria coupled with the little recognition budding female music artistes receive in Nigeria, Cique has performed in a number of shows across Nigeria including Lagos. And they’ll be ushering their teeming fans into year 2020 with two singles which they are presently working on.
