The afrocentric Port-Harcourt base artiste popularly known as Ugo C. who recently dominated the Port Harcourt music scene with his numerous hit songs has just be welcomed by a new management as he signed an investment deal with TMB Nation a record label based in Port-Harcourt.
Details of the business partnership including duration of contract were not divulged but what is certain is that the agreement will see the young artiste bouncing back in action as he set to drop his first official single titled “Don’t Judge Me” under the new management.
During this period of the contract the record label which was recently lunched with Ugo C been the front artiste will enjoy a mutually beneficial relationship with them and the artiste.
According to the CEO of TMB Nation, Mr. Akinbowale Timothy who spoke with Starzone Media via whatsapp, he stated:
In his statement;
“Ugo C is a good friend, a brother and also a very determined Artiste with a good vision and we’ll focused” says the CEO of the record label. “TMB Record might be relatively new in the entertainment business but bringing Ugo C to our label through this investment deal is going to be beneficial to both parties. Ugo C is already a brand on his own so what we hope to do right now is to rebrand him because the kind of music he is into is what is trending right now. Indeed we are very proud as a company to sign this business partnership with the music artiste.”
Ugo C who also considered the deal as a relationship stating that it will help in boosting the image of career while also showcasing him as the street hit maker that he has always been.
In his word;
“We are here for posterity. We cannot achieve anything without a team. I have someone that is ready to support me genuinely and I’m happy to work together with them to bring this into success. Unlike other artistes who have signed deals with record labels to gain recognition and boost their music career, I Ugo C I’m also here to boost this label and as I look forward in making them big giants in the entertainment industry”.
